There were a few of these etched plaques in the Kibble Palace, giving details of the restoration work that took place in 2006. Unfortunately, as I got there 5 minutes before closing time, I didn’t have the chance to make a note of the writing. It is rather lovely though, don’t you think?

I can basically manage to decipher the top writing, but the bottom bit is beyond me.
