Glasgow Daily Photo

A photo a day from Scotland’s biggest city.

This sculpture is found at the entrance to the kids’ playground at House for an Art Lover in Bellahouston Park (I’ll include pictures and more information about the House another time). It’s made up of the word ‘peace’ in a number of different languages – can you see your language here?

An artist’s gift to the world – a dream for peace. Let’s hope that the idea catches on.

  2. That reminds me of a coin that has all the alphabets up to the Roman and includes that – the model for our modern 26 letters. It is a nice coin and large too. Your globe looks like that might be the same idea.

What an eye-catching orb with a lovely sentiment! Very nicely photographed as well!
