Buchanan Street lights

Posted by Jackie on December 12, 2008

This is a view up Buchanan Street, from Argyle Street looking up towards the Royal Concert Hall in the distance, showing some of the Christmas lights. If you check out An Honest Man’s blog from a few days ago (Ayrshire+ Daily Photo – link in the blogroll to the right) you’ll see a view taken not far from this spot, a bit earlier in the evening.

This turned out really well Jackie. I’ve just been out in the cold, snowy night trying to take some pics. I haven’t looked to see if any turned out yet.

I do love a purple haze. This is excellent especially eerie with the lack of shoppers.

Jackie…this is so beautiful. It resembles a street scene on a movie set! There is such a depth to it, and it has so many elements!!! Great job!

  8. Stunning, no other words for it.

  9. This looks great. These shots are so hard for me to get. Well done.
