A photo a day from Scotland’s biggest city.

Courtesy Bus

Posted by Jackie on February 16, 2009

This is the Pollok Park courtesy bus. It was nice to see the colour even in winter. As well as the hairy coos, this also shows Pollok House and the White Cart River (all of which have featured on the blog in the past).

Very friendly-looking animals! Love tour/courtesy vehicles like this — fun!

    How cute!

Okay. Perhaps I am going a bit daft, but the “only” thing missing in that mural is a BELL! (perhaps around the coo’s neck, eh?) hehehe I see a bird, fish, and tree! Tada!!! Am I in Glasgow yet?

That bus looks so astonishingly CLEAN! Laugh if you will, but I went out the other day with little pressure washer in hand and pressure washed the truck and Explorer! You should have seen them transform from a dull, ugly grey color to gold and navy blue!

Sorry…I get carried away by vehicles…no pun intended…

Culture = fun. Seems like a typically Glaswegian equation (unlike other places I could mention!).
