A photo a day from Scotland’s biggest city.

University and sky

Posted by Jackie on March 14, 2009

Here’s another one taken from my trip to the Science Centre in October (hence the trees still having some leaves!). This is the view over the Clyde from the inside of the Centre, towards Glasgow University and the Pentland Hills beyond. I really love the light and the sky in this picture.

Yes, the light is lovely. But it’s the size of the university that’s got my mouth hanging open. Wow. And I just love the old buildings!

Beautiful! The dark water in the foreground and the “pastel skies” in the background are just the ticket to set off the university! With the streaks of sun highlighting the buildings, it looks as though it is advertising, “This is THE place to be”!
