Day Tripping (7) – Loch Lomond from Balloch

Posted by Jackie on March 22, 2009

10 Balloch

This is the southern end of Loch Lomond, taken from Balloch which is right on the southern tip.

I’m down south for a couple of days, catching up with some London haunts and then a study day. Back soon to respond to comments and stuff 🙂

I wouldn’t mind going down that road at all. This is gorgeous countryside!

Just trivia: when I hear ‘Loch Lomond,’ I always think of Captain Haddock in the adventures of Tintin series. That was the name of his favorite whiskey! 🙂

Have a great time in London!

Wow…that is so beautiful, and looks very much like our Canandaigus Lake on a pretty summer’s day! Just look at the greens and blues…ah………..

Well, too late I suppose, but hope you have an enjoyable time in London!
