Strathclyde Fire & Rescue Service were also on hand at the festival. If you’ve ever wondered what the inside of a fire engine looks like, here you go!

    ahhhh – Scotish and a firefighter!! that’s a double yummy for this American
    right after 9/11 I met a group of firefighters from Scotland, they were here in NY for some funerals and to offer moral support
    Oh my! they were delightful

    This is great…I think the more people who know what is involved in the work done by our civil servants, the better. I hope someone was on hand to explain what all goes into a fire engine and how it all works.

    Aha! Seems we see “inside” the truck frequently, as we have passed a few open trucks on the road! (perhaps volunteer companies “open up” more freely? hehehe) A very cool photo, but what IS that man pointing at?

    Great photo, Jackie! Now we can see why every little boy in the world wants to be a fireman!
