Musical fish

Posted by Jackie on July 30, 2009

This is one of the exhibits in the Science Centre. If I recall correctly, whenever the fish swim through a beam they activate a musical note. Maybe I didn’t hang around long enough, but I’m not sure it was working when I was there.

Or maybe the fish got sick and tired of playing patsy for humans. Or maybe they got sick and tired of hearing the same old note all the time. Maybe they wanted to make some real music. You know how fish are… ;-))

Nah, this is a nice, colorful and fun setup. Good idea. Like you say, maybe it just wasn’t working when you were ther.

  2. If nothing else, they have pretty musical notes to swim by!

What a great idea, although it didn’t work for you! Love your series about the day trips, it gave some ideas for the next time I come over to Scotland! Horrid weather here in Yorkshire. Don’t even feel like going out. Ciao. A.
