A photo a day from Scotland’s biggest city.

Autumn cathedral

Posted by Jackie on October 22, 2009

I was pleased with this one. The cathedral peering out from behind the autumn leaves is St Andrew’s, the Roman Catholic Cathedral which is on the banks of the River Clyde.

Oh Jackie, this looks like a rather unexpected angle on things! LOVE IT!!!! Great compostition and the colors? WOW!

Thank you! Actually the angle turned out to be like this as I wanted to hide the fact that the front of the cathedral is covered in scaffolding at the moment! If it hadn’t been then the photo might have been a bit more ordinary!

Very pretty! And a fantastic solution to the problem of the scaffolding.
